A Temporary and Participatory Camper Community

Designated to temporarily house families who have been displaced by Hurricane Helene.

We anticipate having up to 30 campers on our property, with hook-ups for electrical, water, and sewer.

We are working with Buncombe County School counselors to identify families who are most in need of housing at this time.

How we hold space for healing:

uphold dignity

Every person is to be respected, given privacy and personal space, and given the opportunity to participate in the decision making process.

reduce anxiety

Our community will provide safety and structured support for rebuilding lives, as well as coordinating access to resources and people to reduce isolation and increase stability.

embrace mutuality

We will build a stronger sense of community and commitment to the greater good of our county though sharing stories, meals, support, and responsibilities.
