Spiritual Practice – Draw a prayer request out of the basket. These prayer needs were collected this past month and are offered by the officers who work at Buncombe County Detention Facility.
As you look out over the horizon behind the painting, facing in the direction of our jail:

• Think about the full weight of the emotional toll that is experienced by correction officers across the country 

• Offer a short prayer for the request made by this officer 

• Return the prayer request to the basket for the next pilgrim

Práctica Espiritual — Mientras que Jesús está clavado en la cruz, se te invita a considerar todo el peso y el esfuerzo emocional que experimentan los oficiales penitenciarios de todo el país en este acto. En la tercera estación recibiste las peticiones de los detenidos locales, y aquí encontrarás una colección de peticiones ofrecidas por los oficiales que trabajan en el Centro de Detención del Buncombe County. Estas peticiones se recogieron este último mes. Ahora estás invitado a sacar una petición de la canasta, mientras que miras hacia el horizonte detrás de la pintura, mirando en dirección a nuestra cárcel, ofrezca una oración por la petición hecha por este oficial. Cuando hayas terminado, devuelva la petición a la canasta para el próximo peregrino.
