Spiritual Practice – Pick up a single stone. Let it be for you a symbol of burden; both the burden that Jesus took and the burden that holds almost 2 million American citizens.  This is the burden that you are invited to take on for the next few moments.  As you are willing and able, take the stone and place it in your shoe (or carry it in your hand) and let it remind you of the weight and discomfort of burden for as long as you are able.
